Walking through the forest in Honduras, this family's shanti home appeared suddenly, guardians to the ancient birthing site where huge boulders are carved into mystical frogs and snakes. The land all around treasured for it's sacred fertility.

Copan Ruins have had the most elaborate sculptures of the Maya temples we've seen yet. There are theories that the ancient Maya temples locations fallowing the Chakra system, Copan being the third eye chakra, vision of enlightenment.

For the winter solstice we traveled to Tikal for a 10 day spiritual activation event. The group performed ancient Mayan fire ceremonies at several of the ruins in the Tikal area. The temples are spectacular, we feel blessed to have been a part of ritual and healing in such a sacred place.

Blissed out from the crown chakra ceremony at the Mundo Perdido, Tikal.

Kan' nal performed an acoustic set in Tikal on the solstice. We danced our hearts out with blessings of light and love for the year to come!

In case you didn't know "Jesus is the man".

Rick hard at work: Social expermentations with public cross dressing= proved sucessful for picking up ladies!

Amazing images illustrating stories within stories decorate various walls around the lake. Symbols and colors are a rich and powerful aspect of the Mayan culture. This particular image was found hidden within the confines of a small storage shed in the pueblo of San Pedro.

Road trippin with some friends, we went to a rad folk music festival with artists from all over Central America!
Antigua is a fantastic little metropolitan town with architecture dating back to the 1500's. It vibe is like the Berkeley of Guatemala.

We are always being inspired by experiences and people we meet along the "path", always looking for la pura vida.

Our yoga practice has become much deeper and helped us open many wonderful aspects of ourselves. We have made it a regular part of our lives. This is the view from the yoga room where Amanda and I practice. The front wall opens up to nature offering amazing views of both volcanoes.

Often we find our selves sitting in silence watching the world turn, breathing in now.

The Dia de los Muertos is a joyful celebration to honor the loved ones of the past, commune with our sacred mother in nature and refresh the vibrance of the cemetary. Myth and the spirit world are very much alive in the heart of these Mayan villages.

Want a great idea of how to feed your family, be a socially acceptiable drunk and chain smoke your lungs off while watching sexy dancing ladies in the privacy of your own home all for free! Create a "Naughty Saint" shrine and hold rituals to cleans our sins. People will donate $, rum, their dirty panties and more!

Ritual is everything to keeping a culture alive. This Wolfman is a sacred representation of our shadow self, the graceful darkness that swirls inside all beings. The wolf is sneaky and selfish but must be powerfully respected.

Fiddlin! Rick has been debueting his sexy strings on stages around the lake. There is a suprisingly great music scene with all the world travelers who pulse with devine creative flow.

Hola friends and family. We've landed and what a magical place Lake Atitlan is! The Mayan's call this the umbilicus of the Earth since the lake is the mother of all life and the fire within the 3 volcanoes the life force of all beings. Every morning we wake to amazing sunrises (like this foto), go down to the water to wash the sleep off and arise to the days events.

Rick is hard at work. His dissertation is flowing freely and is inspiring much self discovery and spiritual exploration. Amidst all his writing, Rick some how still manages to down load music and chat with his cheese buddies

Amanda is spending her days creating, adventuring, and Rolfing. This pic is her first fire performance on the full moon. There are many spiritual seekers and healing centers around the lake. Amanda's found her niche instructing two yoga classes a week, muchos Rolfing, and leading a scavenger hunt for the local backpackers joint.

Life moves slowly here. Every moment is special in either a challenging way, like learning to speak Spanish or living amongst gypsies, or it is very peaceful, just breathing in life admiring the nature around. Mayans are very colorful and laugh a lot. Each region has their tribal colors and unique language, and the women pretty much run the community, righteously so!

Bodhi is stoked to be here! He has tons of space and a new best friend, a huge 1 year old Akita German Shep mix. All they do is play and eat eachothers faces! There are no roads in Santa Cruz so we hike to and fro everywhere, keeping us healthy!

Much love to you all and keep in touch.
Visits are also highly encouraged!
